BSI Software, a European provider of AI-powered CRM and customer experience platforms and a portfolio company of BU, has announced the acquisition of Sikom Software GmbH, a Heidelberg-based provider of premium contact center software with over 25 years of experience serving enterprise customers in regulated industries. The acquisition strengthens BSI’s modular Customer Suite by integrating Sikom’s omnichannel contact center capabilities, enabling end-to-end processes across service, sales, and marketing while maintaining data sovereignty.
Scope of Work
Code & Co. advised BSI Software on AI & Tech Due Diligence through a detailed evaluation of Sikom’s contact center platform, covering its omnichannel software capabilities, integration approach, and AI strategy, as well as its product roadmap and platform modernization trajectory.
The assessment further examined the underlying technology stack, infrastructure, scalability, and cybersecurity practices, and concluded with a review of Sikom’s engineering organization, software development lifecycle, and key considerations for supporting continued product development and growth.
