WeKomply, a leading Nordic provider of compliance and risk management software solutions and a portfolio company of VIA equity, has acquired D4, a Danish provider of a digital quality management platform (Quality Management System – QMS). The acquisition strengthens WeKomply's position in the Nordic compliance software market and supports its strategy of helping customers digitalize processes and workflows related to compliance, quality assurance, and risk management, while improving operational efficiency.
Scope of work
Code & Co. advised WeKomply on AI & Tech Due Diligence through an in-depth evaluation of the D4 platform, covering its quality management software capabilities, product strategy and roadmap, and emerging AI and automation capabilities.
The assessment further examined the underlying technology stack, hosting infrastructure, scalability, and cybersecurity practices, and concluded with a review of D4's engineering organization, software development lifecycle, and key considerations for supporting continued product development and growth.
