ACTICO has announced that it has joined forces with Axe Finance, a UK-based provider of credit and risk management software. This strategic move is supported by Keensight Capital, one of the leading private equity managers dedicated to pan-European Growth Buyout investments. While ACTICO has a leading presence in the DACH region and across Europe, Axe Finance expands ACTICO's international reach in the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific.
Scope of work
Code & Co. reviewed Axe Finance's end-to-end credit lifecycle platform, spanning loan origination, servicing, collateral and limit management, early warning and collections across retail, SME, corporate and institutional segments. The assessment covered the configuration-driven single-codebase strategy, the platform's role as primary system of record for financial institutions, and its AI and machine learning capabilities, both in production and on the roadmap toward an open lending platform.
Code & Co. also examined the technical architecture, integration framework and containerized, cloud-agnostic deployment model, along with the ongoing modernization of core components, resilience and high-availability design, and the cybersecurity posture. On the engineering side, the review covered the organization and its delivery hubs, the development lifecycle and release practices, quality assurance, and the regulatory compliance framework supporting expansion into new jurisdictions.
