Engagement — Platform Due Diligence

Code & Co. provides Tech & Product Due Diligence to FLEX Capital ahead of its acquisition of 3C Deutschland, a leading technology company specializing in the digitalization of claims processes within the insurance sector.

FLEX Capital has acquired 3C Deutschland GmbH, a leading provider of digital claims management software in the Germanspeaking region. Founded in 2006, 3C has established itself as a trusted technology partner to insurance companies for whom claims processes are a critical success factor. With approximately 90 employees, the company today automates high-volume workflows for a longstanding customer base – including 20 of the top motor and property insurers in Germany and Switzerland.

Scope of Work

Code & Co. conducted a comprehensive audit of 3C Deutschland’s platform, focusing on its comprehensive product architecture, hybrid infrastructure, and backend technology stack, enabling end-to-end data processing and automation.

The review also covered the platform’s emerging AI functionality, integration design, and operational performance.

The evaluation concluded with an assessment of the engineering organization, software development lifecycle, and quality management practices.
